| Born and raised in Italy, Claudia has always been interested in the visual arts. During her childhood and teen years, she practiced many different media, visiting and studying the masterpieces that abounded in her home town. She developed a keen interest in the painters of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, like Michelangelo and Caravaggio, and adopted a realistic approach to her early works. Years later and on a new continent, Claudia still enjoys painting. She experiments with new techniques and a looser approach now. Her favorite subjects are flowers, animals, and people.
